If I have a problem or question after business hours, will Scott Alarm be there?
Yes. Our knowledgeable technicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you with any issues that may arise.
I want to eliminate my landline phone. Can my security system work without it?
You’ll want to upgrade to a wireless system. Wireless systems use built-in cellular technology, eliminating the need for a landline phone. Landline phone lines are being phased out across the country, so now is the right time to go wireless.
How do I test my security system?
You should test your system once a month, anytime phone work has been done at your home and one week before you leave for vacation. To test your system, just call our central monitoring station at 1-800-336-4825.
What is the difference between my password and my keypad code?
Your password is the word or set of numbers you verbally tell our operator in order to cancel a false alarm dispatch. Your keypad code is the 4-digit number you enter on your control panel to arm and disarm your security system.
